Jerry Dale Boatright, age 72, of Alma passed away on February 15, 2021 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness.  He was born in Bacon County on August 26, 1948 to John Riley Boatright and Faye Tillman Boatright. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Mobley Boatright and two brothers, Jimbo Boatright and Edsel Boatright. He attended Southside Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Henson (David) of Mulberry, FL. and Karen Beaty of Alma; two grandchildren, Ashley Henson (Mattie) of Mulberry, FL. and Chris Beaty  (Ryce) of Alma and three great-grandchildren, Brysen, Braxten and Kimber Beaty; brother, Ardel Boatright (Diane) of Nicholls and four sisters, Sue Graef (Rick) and Elaine Palmer of South Carolina, Dora Boatright of Florida and Raulette Waters (Gene) of Alma.

A memorial service for Mr. Jerry will be held at a later date.
