Obituary
Jerry Wayne Harrell, age 48, of Alma died Friday May 1st, 2015 at St. Vincents Medical Center in Jacksonville after a short illness. He was a native of Jeff Davis County, had lived in Jacksonville, FL for several years before moving to Alma in 1983. He was son of the late E L (Junior) Harrell.
Survivors include his mother, Wilma Taylor Harrell of Alma, a sister, Brenda Anderson (Terry) of Alma, three nephews, two nieces and a special friend, Mary Wells of Alma.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Peavy and Rev. Jimmy Miles officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 P M.
Active pallbearers will be, Jeff Williams, Eddie Crapps, David Moore, James Faircloth, Phillip Lyons and Kale Anderson. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
