Jerry Ray Meeks, age 80, of Nicholls passed away at Memorial Hospital in Savannah April 10, 2022 after an extended illness. He was born on May 1, 1941 in Coffee County to Linton Meeks and Mildred Taylor Meeks. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Lee Meeks and Rodney Taylor and sister, Judy Mullis.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Francis Moore Meeks; two sons, Bradley Taylor and wife Becky and Dewayne Taylor; daughter-in-law, Kim Meeks; nephew, Rodney Mullis; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Meeks Cemetery " Private cemetery next to Rigdon Cemetery" with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
