Jerry Dewayne Thomas, age 68, of Alma passed away on January 20, 2021 at coffee Regional Medical Center after a short illness.  He was born in Bacon County on December 20, 1952 to Gerald Thomas and Doris Knowles Creamer. Mr. Thomas was retired from Amoco Fabrics.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Thomas; sister, Tammy Crowley and a half-brother, Bobby Creamer. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Louise Johnson Thomas, four children, Beverly Gurley and Connie Clements of Alma, Bonnie Crosby (Randy) of Baxley and Ronnie Clements (Janet) of Alma; one sister, Gloria Sweat of Hazlehurst; five grandchildren, Austin Crosby (Brooke), Jacob Clements (Molly), Karleigh Atkinson (Joshua), Marlee Clements and Daniel Clements and great-grandchildren, Stella Rae Clements and special great-grand, Christian Gurley.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 24 ^th at 2:00 PM at Pine Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Mullis officiating.

Mask and social distancing will be required.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
