Jimmy Darryl Anderson, age 50, of Alma died suddenly Wednesday October 8th, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah after a very short illness. He was a native of Jacksonville, FL but had lived in Alma for many years. He was son of the late Jimmy Wade Anderson and Bobbi Sue Whittle Anderson and was also preceded in death by grandparents, John & Cleo Lingenfelter Anderson, an aunt, Jaulinda Mobley Anderson, step grandparents, Hazel Harrell & Estelle Harrell Gilliard. Darryl was a driver for Sweat Transportation of Alma

Survivors include Step mother, Anna Faye Anderson of Douglas, three sons, Darryl Christopher (Chris) Anderson and wife (Tonya) of Alma, Andrew Darryl Anderson and fiance', Kaitlyn Hollis of Douglas, John Allen Anderson of Greensboro, N C, daughters of his heart, Dee Anna Taylor of Alma, Shaundra Taylor Moore of Pearson, a grandson, Ashton Cole Anderson, two brothers, Michael Anderson (Judy) of Nicholls, John Anderson (Anita) of Nicholls, a sister, Debra Anderson of Douglas, uncles, Fred & Lilla Jo Anderson, Wilbert & Janelle Anderson all of Nicholls, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 o'clock at Victory Chapel Baptist Church in Ware County with Rev. Adam Henderson and Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Meeks Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening between 6 and 9 P M. The body will be carried to the church Saturday at 10:00 A M to lie in state.

Active pallbearers will be, David Harrell, Timothy and Mickey Anderson, Ricky Hersey, Wesley Gilliard and Andy Rigby. Honorary will be, office staff and drivers of Sweat Transportation of Alma.
