Obituary
Jo Ann Taylor Anderson, age 72, of Alma passed away Thursday, May 21st at Coffee Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Marvin (Mutt) Taylor and Thelma Lee Cox Taylor. Jo Ann was preceded in death her husband Jimmy Lee Anderson, daughter, Janet Kirkland, sister, Geraldine Taylor and a brother, Bobby Taylor. She was a member of Nicholls Church of God.
Survivors include one son, Tony Kirkland (Crystal) of Alma, one daughter, Shelia Banks (Jimmy) of McDonough, Ga., a brother, Willis Harold Taylor (Ginger) of Nicholls, 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Hatten and Julienne Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Kevin and Anthony Kirkland, Chad Taylor, Justin Hatten, Aaron Giles and Brandon Zuckerman. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary escorts.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
