Jo Ann Vines, age 73, of Lilburn, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 11th at the Eastside Hospital in Snellville, GA. after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County, daughter of the late Prentice Thomas and Vodice Stewart Thomas and preceded in death by her husband, Alton "Buddy" Vines, one brother, Wendall Thomas and a sister, Debbie Methvin.

Survivors include her daughter, Dee Porter and husband Randy, two grandchildren Chad Porter and Chelsea Porter all of Lilburn, GA. and two brothers, Dwain Thomas of Interlachen, FL. and Novak Thomas of Camden, SC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19th at 1:00 PM at Campground Methodist Church with Rev. John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving at the funeral home form 6 to 9 PM Friday.
