Joan M. Turner, age 69, of Statesboro, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro after an extended illness. She was a native of Concorde, CA. but lived in Georgia most of her life. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, John Mobley and Margaret McGuire Mobley. She was Registered Nurse and worked in many hospitals in Georgia.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Larry Turner of Statesboro, Georgia, two children, Jack A. Turner and wife Michelle of Alma and Jill Bailey and husband Tony of Metter, Georgia, a step daughter, Carrie Miller and husband Tommy of Dahlonega, Georgia, three sisters, Judy May of Arkansas, Jean Tomlinson of the State of CA. and Jane Mobley of the State of Washington; also 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren survive.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
