Obituary
Joann L. Williams, age 64, passed away at her residence December 24th after an extended illness. She was daughter of the late Alfred Lemacks and Maggie Irene Nipper Lemacks and preceded in death by a brother, A. J. Lemacks and two sisters, Gayle Gunn and Marta Lynn Lemacks. Joann was a member of Westside Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years Oscar "Buster" Williams, two children, Jamie Williams and Serena Outler (Arthur) all of Alma, four sisters, Nell Anderson (Andy) of Atlanta, GA., Rita Pierce of Panama City, FL., Annette Joyner of Metter, GA. and Patricia Stone (Rick) of Waycross, GA.; also 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild survive.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 11:00 from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bennett officiating.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
