Joe Dereck Bland, age 59, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021at Community Hospice in Jacksonville. He was born in Bacon County on September 15, 1961 to Quinith L. Bland and Afton Carter Bland.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Bland, sister, Ann Hennagir and a brother, Henry Bland. Survivors include his son, Joseph Clay Bland; brother, Thomas Bland; three sisters, Pam Hyatt, Judy Jones (Alan) and Karen Kissick (Dale); one grandchild all of Jacksonville, FL. also several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
