J. D. (Joe Trowell), Sr., born on December 29, 1941, passed away on June 6, 2024 due to medical complications. He was 82 years old.

Joe was a devoted husband to Carolyn Grace Griffin Trowell and a loving stepfather to Kyle Samuel Burke (Randi- Jo Davis). He cherished his twin granddaughters, Bryley Nevaeh Davis and Kylie Michelle Davis, who brought immense joy to his life. Joe was preceded in death by his beloved stepson Thomas Eugene Burke Jr. and grandson, Jacob Reese Davis, whose memory he held dear.

Joe was a man of strength and integrity, known for his hard work and dedication throughout his life. He valued those who stood by him and reciprocated their kindness with unwavering support and love.

In accordance with Joe's wishes, there will be no public service. A private, invitation-only memorial service will be held at a later date. This will be an intimate gathering for those who truly valued and respected him.

Joe believed in the importance of genuine relationships and mutual respect. He did not wish for those who were absent in his life to feel obligated or concerned by his passing. His memory will be honored by those who sincerely appreciated and supported him.
