Joey Quinton Boatright, age 69, passed away August 8 at his home in Cadwell, Georgia.

He was a 1968 graduate of Bacon County High School and attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College. He enjoyed helping take care of the family farm and was a sport enthusiast.

Joey was a member of Ten Mile Church.

Survivors are sisters:  Betty Woods of Ft. Myers, FL, June Robertson of Athens, GA, Sue Leger of Winder, GA and Kaye Boatright of Athens, GA. He is preceded in death by parents Goldie Hickox Boatright and Jesse James Boatright, a sister, Vera Lee and brothers Roy T., Delman, Darrell, Edsel, Junior, W.F., J.E., Richard, Russell, Gary Boatright and Larry Carter.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 17 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Pet Hayes officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
