Johannas (John) Theodore Wunderlich, Jr., age 74, of Alma passed away January 20, 2025 at his residence after a short illness. He was born August 1, 1950 in Savannah, Georgia to the  late Johannas Theodore Wunderlich, Sr. and Mary Inez Hinley Wunderlich.

Mr. Wunderlich served in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Cote Wunderlich, sister, Donna Shallar and two brothers, John Woodland and Bill Woodland. Survivors include his girlfriend, Patricia Riggins; three children, John Wunderlich wife Jennifer of Jacksonville, FL. and Sebastian Cote of Quebec, CA. and Nancy Lynn Horton husband Danny of Jacksonville, FL; also 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Lane Wade, Dale Windle, Dwayne Waxer and Kevin Booms.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
