Mr. John Garner Grayson, age 86, of Sanford, Florida passed away on November 25, 2019 at South Seminole Hospital. He was born on November 29, 1932 in Bacon County to Estelle Grayson and Tinnie Mercer Grayson; besides his parents a son John Steven Grayson and a sister Euletha Lee preceded him in death. He served in the US Army and was retired from CSX Railroad.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Wilma Stewart Grayson, son Greg Grayson (Jennifer) of Sanford, FL., daughter-in-law Linda Gardner of Debary, FL., three sisters Uvalda Turner of Alma, Mary Sue Miller (James) and Joan Thornton both of Jesup, GA., four grandchildren Kimberly Montgomery, John & Joshua Grayson of Sanford, FL., Chad Grayson (Danielle) of Seattle Washington and three great-grandchildren Evan Grayson and Grayson Montgomery of Sanford, FL. and Colt Grayson of Seattle Washington.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Bennett and Rev. Tim Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Stewart Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Saturday from 12:30 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Scott Tanner, John and Chad Grayson, Joshua and Shane Peacock, Nathan Bennett and Kevin Miller. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
