John Franklin Lamb, age 90, of Alma passed away August 10, 2023 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1933 in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois to the late Randall L. Lamb and Lucie Terrell Lamb.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Lamb.

Mr. Lamb served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired School Teacher.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Nancy Cothren Lamb; daughter, Lisa Stephens of Alma; three grandchildren, John Mark Hunt, Amber and Kim Watt and brother, Jim Lamb of Kentucky.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Campground Church Cemetery with Rev. Roger Carter officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
