John Riley Waters, age 41, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence on December 20, 2020.

Survivors include his parents, Robert Eugene Waters and Mattie Raulette Boatright Waters of Alma, three children, Gaige Waters, Raven Waters and Lindsey Waters of Hazlehurst, brother, Robert "Robbie" E. Waters (Georgia) of Oklahoma, a sister Dorothy "Dot" Harkelroad (Randy) of Alma and Aunt Dora Boatright.

A private memorial was held Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Carters Chapel Church.
