Johnnie R. Kight, age 81, of Alma passed away October 24, 2023 at Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was daughter of the late Roscoe Rigdon and Teresa Smith Rigdon. Besides her parents she preceded in death her husband Mac Taylor and sister Elsie McLean.

Mrs. Johnnie was retired from Pineland Bank after 38 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Henry Kight of Alma; two daughters, Jamie Johnson (David) and Cindy Lee of Alma; three grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, Anna Adams (Lawrence) and Jesse Lee and two great-grandchildren, Walker and Waylon Adams; four step children, Danny Kight (Laura) of Alma, Henry M. Kight (Michelle) of Niceville, FL, Cindy Kight of Guyton and Teresa Howard of Hazlehurst, 8 step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at Crosby Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM.  A graveside will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 Am at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Pam Sermons officiating. Stanley Beckham will give a personal eulogy.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
