Johnny Newton Dell, age 82, of Nicholls passed away December 21, 2024 at Hospice Satilla after a short illness. He was son of the late Myrah Lee Dale and Martha Cathryn Wilcox Dell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Dell and sister, Gail Dell.

Mr. Dell served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his son, Adrian Casey Dell (Gladys) of Torrance, CA.; three grandchildren, Marcus, Ava and Aika Dell; two brothers, Lewis Dell of Callahan, FL and Marshall Dell (Annette) of Folkston, GA and sister, Nancy Krensen of Folkston.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Kenyon Fennell officiating. Interment will follow in Douglas Family Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Monday at the funeral from 12:00 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be David Dell, Kevin Thomas, Ricky Waters, Darowyn Lee, Terry Waters and Will Tuten. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral will be in charge of arrangements.
