Jones. R. Haselden, age 64, of Alma passed away at home after a short illness surrounded by family and friends Thursday, February 12th at 2:25 AM. He was a native of Bacon County; son of the late Alton Parker Haselden and Eva Jones Haselden. He was preceded in death by a grandchild Kiley Haselden, two brothers, Theron and Ed Haselden, one sister, Myrtle Haselden Holland. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Mims Baptist Church and was a heavy equipment operator .
Survivors include a wife of 34 years Juanda Jan Wheeler Haselden, two sons, James R. Haselden (Melody) and Kevin Haselden & (Marcy), four grandchildren, Kelsey, Brayden, Caden and Ransom and five step-grandchildren, Brittany, Jesslyn, Hoyt, Bell and Lexi, two brothers, Rogery and Don Haselden, two sisters Aruex Cauley Jeanie Gaskins (Bill), several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Mims Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Randy & Stevie Altman, Joey Anderson, Bradley Taylor, Ricky Mims, James Williams, Johnny Wayne Hollis. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
