Jonnie Marie Taylor Hancock, age 83, of Alma died suddenly at her home Tuesday February 24th, 2015. She was a native of Coffee County but had lived in Bacon County most of her life. Jonnie was daughter of the late Dan Meeks and Minnie Marie Hall Meeks and was also preceded in death by her husbands, David Andrew Taylor and Raymond Hancock, a son Damon Taylor and a brother, Dan Hall Meeks.

Survivors include a son, David Roderick Taylor of Alma, three grandchildren, David Jay Taylor, William Dan Taylor of Alma and Dr. Julie Taylor Taggart of Columbia, TN. Also four great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Varnadore officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery in Coffee County. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Dr. Luke Taggart, David Taylor, David R. Taylor, Wayne Williams, Vic Peacock and Michael Crosby. Honorary will be Mary Meeks and all others in attendance.
