Joseph Richard Boatright
Joseph Richard Boatright, age 66 of Caldwell, GA passed away on August 5, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Dublin, Ga., after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon Co. and had lived in Caldwell, GA since 1990. He graduated from Bacon Co. High School in '1964, was a farmer, and served in U.S. Army and Vietnam. He was the son of the late Jessie James Boatright and Goldie Hickox Boatright.
Richard was preceded in death by nine brothers, Tynan, Delman, Edsel, Walter Jr., WF, Larry Vernon Carter, JE, Russell, Gary and also one sister, Vera Lee. Survivors include two brothers, Darrell Boatright Sr. of Alma and Joey Boatright of Caldwell, GA,; four sisters, Betty Woods of Ft. Myers, Fl, June Robertson and Kaye Boatright of Athens, GA and Glenda Sue Leger of Winder, GA. Al large number of neices and nephews also survive. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
