Joshua Garrett Hall, age 29, passed away peacefully at home August 04, 2026. A native of Appling County, he was born June 26, 1997, to Jerry Dewayne Hall and Kimberly Daniels Hall. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Diane Daniels; paternal grandparents, Ernest “Peg” and Maggie Hall.

He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for many years. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, Chipper Jones and Freddie Freeman were his heroes. He was also a lover of old country music.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry Hall and Kimberly Hall; brothers, Jared Hall (Caroline) and Judson Hall (Katie) ; maternal grandfather, Rev. Tommy Daniels; uncles, Brian Medders (Kelly) of Baxley and Nathan Hall; aunt, Susie Thornton (Robert); niece, Lucy Hall; cousin, Mason Medders.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 08, 2026, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Holton Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers include Preston Miles, Micah Branch, Grady Sweeney, John Sellers, Grayson Carter, Bryan Johnson, Mason Medders, Jamie Carver, Brian Medders, and Joseph Sweeney, All in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.

The family will be gathering at the home of Brian and Kelly Medders.
