Joyce Revels Mansfield, age 88, of Alma passed away December 16th at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after a short illness. She was a native of Coffee County but had lived most of her life in Waycross before moving to Alma several months ago. Joyce was daughter of the late A. B. Revels and Sarah Hobby Revels and was preceded in death by six brothers, Curtis, Ray, Leo and Stanford Revels, A.B. Revels, Jr. and J.D. Hancock and four sisters, Maude McRorie, Bertha Spires, Tellie Jo Chaney and Bell Mahoney. She was a member of Herbeardville Baptist Church in Waycross.

Survivors include a son, Edward Grantham (Francesca) of Lake City, Florida, two daughters, Sandra Grantham Johns of Alma, Roxanne Skippy Mansfield of Waycross, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 18th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the New Vision Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Tyler Boatright, Dylan Deen, Jerry Taylor, Eric Boatright, Bryan Grantham and Joe Boatright. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
