Judy Ann Nipper, age 75, of Alma passed away October 20, 2023 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born May 21, 1948 in Bacon County to the late Joseph L. Tanner and Geraldine Boykin Tanner. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Yanci Nipper and brothers, Billy and Bobby Tanner.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Randal Nipper, four children, Tony Nipper (Sonya), Mark Nipper (Marie Davis), Ken Nipper (Trish) and Tina Cravey (Jeff); brother Mickey Tanner (Linda); 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor George Moxley and Pastor Jeffrey Taylor. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Klein Nipper, Lane Nipper, Carson Nipper, Ryder Nipper, Steel Brantley, David Trowell and Dustin Morris.  Honorary pallbearers will be Staff of Georgia Hospice Care.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
