Judy Bagley Taylor, age 68, of Nicholls passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after an extended illness. She was a native of Ware County and the daughter of the late JD Bagley and Lois Courson Bagley. She is preceded in death by her sister Mildred Bagley Woods and brothers Dennis and Bobby Bagley and her little dog Gizmo.

She was a retired business owner and a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church. Judy loved her family, was so very proud of her children and she adored her grandchildren. She and Buddy recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Lygree Taylor (Buddy Cobb) of Alma; son, Scottie Lygree Taylor, and two daughters Lisa Taylor Tomberlin (David) and Laurie Taylor Ponsell (Jody) all of Waycross. Sister, Marie Bagley Cole (Jerry) of Warner Robins. She is also survived by 3 granddaughters; Liz Hutto Alitarawneh (Ayman), Bailey Williams (Kagan Davis) both of Alma and Emma Tomberlin of Waycross. 3 grandsons Drew and Luke Ponsell of Waycross and Brent Tomberlin (Deprise) of Manor. Great Granddaughters Loretta and Lilah Tomberlin. Very Special Bonus grandchildren Ridge Lee, Mabry Fannin, Hattie Rae Purvis, Tayler Hutto Allen (Austin), Anna Mock Thrift (Cody) and Archie Thrift. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

Active pallbearers are: Ayman Alitarawneh, Kagan Davis, Ridge Lee, Michael Medders, and Chad Lee. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Delk officiating. Eulogy will be given by Tayler Hutto Allen. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 PM until funeral time.
