Obituary
Julian Walter Thomas, age 39, of Nicholls passed away suddenly Thursday, October 22nd in Coffee County. He was son of the late Larry Milton Thomas and Geraldine Greer Thomas and preceded in death by a brother, Terry Thomas and a sister, Cynthia Thomas. He served 2 years in the US Air Force and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his sister, Regenia Howell and husband Kevin of Nicholls, his girlfriend, Kasey Newberry of Alma, six children, Jacob Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Blake Thomas, Raymond and Raygin Newberry and Savannah Scott all of Alma.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 25th at 2:00 PM at Southside Church of God with Rev. Mark Carver officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; James Lawson, James Meeks, Michael Tanner, Clint Harper, Antonio Harris and Darren Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be; Class of 1994.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
