Karen Carver, age 67, passed away suddenly September 05, 2025, at her home in Appling County. She was born in Bacon County on October 01,1957, to Cleon Carver and Juanelle Williams Carver. She is preceded in death by her father, Cleon, her sister Teresa Altman, and her husband Michael Wilcox.

She is survived by her son Travis Carver (Jon) of Blackshear; daughter, Nikki Gilliard of Alma; three grandchildren, Haily Gilliard, Serenity Music, and Harmony Music; three brothers, Joey Carver of Alma, Dale Carver (Leslie) of Carroltton, GA, Jeffery Carver of West Green; one sister, Debra Carver of Douglas.

She was a member of Liberty Church of God.

A memorial service will be held at Liberty Church of God, Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:30 AM with Rev. Leon Guest, Rev. John Thomas and Dr. Dale Carver officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 11 AM until service time.
