Karen Elaine Thrift, age 67, of Jesup passed away suddenly at her residence on December 13, 2021 after a short illness. Born in Jeff Davis County on December 22, 1953 to Earl Faulk and Melba Ellene Cribb Faulk.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Jesup.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Timmy and Michael Faulk. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Tony Curtis Thrift of Jesup; three sons, Steven Curtis Thrift of Mississippi, Johnny Allen Thrift of Alma and David Earl Thrift and wife Katherine of Jesup; two sisters, Earline Argo and husband Joe of Hazlehurst and Peggy Thornton and husband Jerry of Alma and 13 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Bishop R. B. Gaskins officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be; Allen Thrift, Shane and Dalton Burkett and Elijah Barnes.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
