Katherine Martin, age 92, passed away April 01, 2025, at Memorial Satilla Health after a short illness. She is the daughter of the late Thelmedge Rowland and Myrtice Carter Rowland. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Derrick Martin, grandson William Martin; one brother, Wilmer Rowland; three sisters Winifred Williams, Mildred Yarborough, and Carrie Rowland.

Survivors include two sons Terry Martin (Judy), of Alma and Chris Martin (Tammy) of Jacksonville, FL. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of Lee's Chapel Church.

A graveside will be held Friday April 04, 2025, at 11 AM at Pine Lawn Cemetery 1872 US Hwy 1 N. Alma, Georgia with Rev. Greg Delk officiating.
