Kathryn Tasha Batten, age 45, of Alma passed away June 5, 2022 at Hospice Satilla after an extended illness. She was daughter of the late Donald Lee Batten. She was a member of New Vision Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Kathryn King Barber and Harold Barber of Patterson; fiancé, Kevin Mikell of Alma; two sons, Justin Blake Mikell and Zachery Clay Mikell of Alma; step daughter, Christian Mikell of Douglas; brother, Johnny Batten and wife Patty of Waycross; sister, Sabrina Pippin (Kevin) of Patterson and two grandchildren, Preslee Gray Mikell and Emma Kinlaw.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8 ^th at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Johnny Batten, Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. John Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Michael Crosby, Justin Blake Mikell, Zachery Clay Mikell, Kevin Pippin, Brent Mikell and Mason Mikell. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
