Kelly James Cothern, age 49, of Alma passed away July 15, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was son of the late Crawley Jackson Cothern and Sophie Mary Smith Cothern and preceded in death by a brother Richie Cothern.

Survivors include his wife Jennifer Cooper; three daughters, Kalyn Cothern, Kiley Cothern and Callie Cooper and brother, Randy Cothern.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Carver officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Little Larry and Terry Barber, Joe, Tad and Filo Medders, Blake and Brody Starling. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
