Kendall Raeburn Walls, age 73, of Hazlehurst passed away December 25, 2024 after an extended illness. He was son of the late John Cecil Walls and Mary Allene Cox Trice Atkinson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Connie Carol Walls; three brothers, John Stanley Walls, Sr., David Allen Walls and Eddie Dean Trice and two sisters, Linda Burch and Lorrie Hutson.

Mr. Walls was retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He was Flight Engineer and Pilot and served in the Vietnam Era and Desert Storm during his time in service. After his retirement he was a Truck Driver and a member of House of Grace in Hazlehurst.

Survivors include four children, Jeremy Walls (Rachel) of Ohio, Amelia Wynn of Hazlehurst, Dedria Colter (Freddie) of Patterson and Kendra Reinhart (Paul) of North Carolina; two sisters, Gewanda Bryant of Glennwood and Mary Powell (David) of Denton; stepsister, Bonnie Perkins of Missouri; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Tanner Wynn, Chris Wynn, Cory Tanner, Benji Taylor, Jimmy Cleghorn, Jeremy Walls, Freddie Colter and Will Moseley. . Honorary pallbearers will be John Walls and Jack Taylor.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
