Kenneth James Smith, Sr., age 68, passed away March 25, 2025, after a short illness. He is the son of the late James Eugene Smith and Alpha Omega Hare Smith.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter, to whom he was a loving and devoted father to, Kenneth Smith, Jr.(wife,Taylor) of Bristol, Rodney Hatcher of Alma, and April Ray (Jeffrey) of Blackshear, GA; Sonya Smith, mother of Kenneth, Jr., April Ray and Rodney Hatcher; two brothers David Smith and Lonnie Ray Smith, both of Callahan, FL. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

He was a member of the Baptist faith and was a Union Boilermaker for 40+ years. He was loved and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten by many friends and family.

A graveside will be held Monday, April 7, 2025, at Rose Hill Cemetery at 2 PM in Alma. Visitation will be at Rose Hill Cemetery from 1 PM until service time.
