Kodi Edward Morris, age 37, passed away at the Bacon County Hospital July 3, 2022 after a short illness. He was born in Bacon County on December 27, 1984 and was son of the late Beverly Jean White McKinnon. Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his brother, Kristopher "Kris" McKinnon, paternal grandfather, Buddy Morris and uncles, Bobby White and Bobby Dryden.

He is survived by his father, Timothy (Kappy) Morris of Stockbridge; maternal grandparents, Edward and Elva Jean White; paternal grandmother, Joyce Morris; aunt and uncles, Sharlene Dryden, Tony and Sandy White, Stan and Rebecca White, Mike (Carmen) Morris and Stevie (Paula) Morris and cousins, Rosalie and James Hardwick, Cassie and Shane McLain, Brandon and Casey Newberry and James and Justin Hardwick.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday form 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; William McKinnon, Jessie Hill, Chris Martin, James Hardwick, Lawrence White, Mark Skinner, Curtis white, Chandler and Charlie Morris.
