Lacy Ann Golden, age 78, of Alma passed away on July 20, 2020 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born in Bleckley County on August 15, 1941 to Marion Darsey and Fanny Skipper Darsey. She was retired from the Bacon County Hospital where she'd worked in Medical Records for many years and was a member of the Westside Congregational Methodist Church.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Tom Darsey and Billy Darsey and two sisters, Melba Darsey Pusser and Lois Bryant.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Lewis Wayne Golden, Sr. of Alma, two sons, Lewis Wayne Golden, Jr. and wife Molly of North Augusta, SC. and Marion Clay Golden of Mount Joy, PA., one daughter, Cindy Ann Tanner and husband Jamie of Alma, five grandchildren, Tyler Evan Golden, Matthew Avery Golden, Jamie Evan Tanner, Sydney Ann Tanner and Nicholas David Golden, one brother, Dennis Darsey of Cario and a sister, Mary Smith of Cochran.

Memorial service for Mrs. Golden will be held Thursday, July 23 ^rd at 2:00 PM at Westside Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Tim Bennett officiating..
