Larry Robert Carver, age 67, of Alma died at his home Saturday afternoon May 6th, 2017 after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County son of the late James S. (Buddy) Carver and Dorothy Williams Carver and was also preceded in death by a brother Stacy Randall Carver. Larry worked in construction for many years and was a member of Liberty Church of God.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Linda Lee Miller Carver of Alma, three sons Heath Carver (Shawna), Chris Carver, Keenan Carver (Jamie) all of Alma a daughter Stephanie Batten (Stephen) of Alma, three brothers Benny Carver (Connie), Dewayne Carver (Leah) and Ricky Carver (LaGaye) all of Alma, five grandchildren MacKenzie Wade, Mia Carver, Sam Carver, Aeralyn Carver and Nathaniel Carver.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday evening at 6:00 P M at the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Guest and a eulogy by Joe Boatright. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 P M until service time at 6:00 o'clock.
