Larry Richard Wildes, age 64, of Alma passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. Larry was born in Alma, Georgia on March 2, 1953 to Clifford Ward Wildes and Wanell Thomas Wildes. He was retired from the Bacon County Board of Education and served in the US Army.

Survivors include two daughters, Brandy Lynn Wildes Boatright of Alma and Kimberly Nicole Wildes of Waycross, a sister, Renee Kirby (Bobby) of Waycross and his grandson, Ethan Boatright of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral.

Active pallbearers will be; Shane Taylor, Sammy Peacock, Danny Spivey, Tony Conrad, Barry Edmundson and Britt Peacock. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
