Laurence Edward Roberson, age 83, of Nicholls passed away suddenly March 26, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 22, 1938 in Coffee County to Lawrence "Mack" Roberson and Beatrice Taylor Roberson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty McNeese Roberson; brother, Roy Lee Roberson and sister, Glenda Colson.

Mr. Roberson was retired from the U. S. Navy after 20 years and was a member of Mims Baptist Church.

Survivors include four children, Laurence Edward Roberson, Jr. of Douglas; Delonda Mims (Jerry) of Alma, Theresa Anderson of Nicholls and Dana Aiken (Pat) Arkansas; brother, Jimmy Ray Roberson (Dora) of Douglas; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. John Thomas officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
