Laveen Lee, age 78, of Alma passed away peacefully suddenly at her residence January 29, 2022. Born in Coffee County on October 13, 1943 to Bartow Rowell and Ava Mathis Rowell. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, W. P. Rowell, Wilbert Rowell, Huey Rowell and Cleon Rowell; sisters, Emma Lee Thigpen, Evelyn Thigpen, Maxine Harper and Rose Ann Rowell.

Laveen was retired from the Bacon County School System and was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years; Ronnie H. Lee of Alma; son, Ron Lee (Knicole) of Baxley; two grandchildren, Hunter Lee (Kaitlin) and Fisher Lee and one great-grandchild, Remington Hollis Lee of Baxley.

There will be no visitation held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
