Georgia Laverne Futch Page, "Mama Lu" age 89, of Nicholls passed away February 24, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born May 7, 1933 in Thomasville, Georgia to George H. Futch and Vivian Greene Futch.

Mrs. Page was retired from Southeastern Bank and was a member of Nicholls Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Stanley Page and great granddaughter, Walton Leighla Tyre. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Page Walton and Jana Page Carver both of Nicholls; four grandchildren, Dana Walton Tyre (Graham), Amanda Walton Williams (Joel), Kevin Duane Carver and Pamela Paige Carver of Nicholls; 5 great-grandchildren, Kayden, Johnni Lyn, Haven, Jagger and Cooper; one sister, Kaye Futch Gilliard (Fred) of Evans, GA. and sister-in-law, Jo Page Brooks of Edison, GA.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023 for Mrs. Page at Meeks Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Campbell, Rev. Rick Darby officiating and a eulogy will be given by Graham Tyre.
