Leola Spivey Truman, age 82, of Kingsland, Georgia passed away suddenly March 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1941 in Bacon County to the late Wiley Spivey and Retta Mae Purvis Cribb. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by daughters, Susan Taylor and Brenda Gail Baker, son, Kirk Douglas Truman and grandson, Justin Linton.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Kirk Truman of Kingsland; three children, James Truman (Laurinda) of Yulee, Joseph Truman and Ronda Truman of Kingsland; two brothers, Carlos Spivey (Connie) and Walter Spivey (Virginia) of Yulee; sisters, Eula Bass (Clovis) of Melborne and Frances Harris of Fort Pierce; son-laws, Mike Baker of Fernandina Beach, FL. and Don Taylor of Alma, and 31 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will Monday, March 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
