Leon J. (L J) Gray, Jr., age 85 of Bickley died at his home Sunday November 23rd, 2014 after an extended illness. He was a native of Ware County, son of the late Leon J Gray, Sr. and Susie Douglas Gray and was also preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Rowell Gray, two brothers, James Ferrell Gray and Billy Gray. L J was a member of Covenant Christian Church in Douglas, retired from Ware Forest, Inc. and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict while serving in the U S Army.

Survivors include a son, Richard Gray of Bickley, two daughters, Janet Gray of Bickley, Patty Gray Ray (Larry) of North Augusta, S C, a sister, Irene McDowell of Gainesville, FL, two grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah Ray of North Augusta, S C, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 25th at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory and Jackie Pope officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ware County. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday beginning at 10:00 A M. until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be, Harold Thornton, Ted Parker, Taylor McKnight and Leon Gray. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
