Mr Leon Worth, age 80, of Statenville, Georgia passed away March 7, 2024 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta Georgia after an extended illness. He was born May 10, 1943 in Bacon County to the late Homer Worth and Lola Lee Music Worth.

He spent his life as a farmer and a contractor until the last few years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Register Worth, brother, Homer Ottis Worth and sister, Doris Worth. Survivors include three children, Ken Worth ( Cathy) of Starke, Fl. and Leon Brent Worth of Statenville, GA; and  Lori Worth Hess ( Brian) of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Lee Worth, Joshua Worth, Tyler Hess, Krista Worth and Marley Schramm; three great grandchildren, Kyler Worth, Zoey Worth and Adalyn Schramm; brother, Jimmy Darrell Worth ( Stacey) of Live Oak, FL and sisters, Judy Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL, Janice Worth Davis ( Mike) of Americus, GA and Joyce Worth Deen ( Neal) of Brunswick, GA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wolfson Children's Hospital 800 Prudential Drive Jacksonville Florida in memory of his great granddaughter Zoey Worth who battled and survived a brain tumor.

Graveside services for Mr Worth will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 2 :00 PM at Wolf Pit Cemetery with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as active pallbearers.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge or arrangements.
