Mr. LeRoy Hayes, age 77, of Alma passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 24, 2021 after a short illness. Born in Bacon County on December 23, 1943 to Ealey Hayes and Eula Tanner Hayes. He served in the US Army and was a lifelong member of Campground Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Timer Hayes and Ronnie Hayes. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hayes of Alma; four children, Eli Hayes and Michelle Hayes of Alma, Natasha Clark (Charles) of Beaufort, SC., and Adrienne Llaban (Jose) of Fort Campbell, KY; one brother, Bucky (Fannie) of Alma; one sister, Frankie Cothern of Nicholls; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Hayes will have a private family memorial at a later date.
