LeVan Rowell Lee, age 67, of Nicholls passed away on October 7, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Born on May 30, 1954 in Coffee County to Willard "Tink" Rowell and Wylean Gilliard Lane. She was retired from the Cooperative Extension Service and was a member of New Vision Church.

LeVan loved the Lord and her family more than anything. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends. You never saw her that she didn't have a smile on her face and a kind word to offer.  LeVan never met a stranger, only friends she didn't know yet. Her home was a place of happy times and where people gathered because she loved entertaining and serving others.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Jerell Rowell, stepfather, James Dennis Lane and brother-in-law, J. E. Redding. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Billy Hugh Lee; son, Geoffrey Hugh Lee (Loretta) of Nicholls; daughter, Candy Johnson (Austin) of Bickley; brother, Glynn Rowell (Martha Sue) of Screven; sister, Jean Redding of Nicholls; four grandchildren, Gavin Johnson, Bryce Lee, Annalyn Johnson and Gage Lee; special family members; Gregory and Leah Turner and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Taylor and Rev. Adam Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 to 9 PM

Active pallbearers will be; Mackie Smith, Danny Smith, Kenny Lamb, Kendall Lamb, Randall Bennett and Jimmy Lee. Escorts will be; Gavin Johnson, Bryce Lee, Gage Lee and Gregory Turner.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
