Mr. Lewis Wayne Golden, Sr., age 81, of Alma passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was born April 19, 1942 in Eastman, Georgia but had spent most of his life in Bacon County.

Mr. Golden was retired from Cohen's of Alma and was a member of Breakthrough Chruch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Clayton Golden and Minnie Bell Lavender Golden and his wife, Lacy Ann Darsey Golden. Survivors include three children, Lewis Wayne Golden, Jr. (Molly) of North Augusta, SC., Cindy Tanner (Jamie) of Alma and Marion Clay Golden of Mount Joy, PA; five grandchildren, Tyler Golden (Taylor), Matthew Golden (Samantha), Evan Tanner (Cierra), Sydney Tanner and Nicholas Golden and long time close friend, Mark Cohen of Alma.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Bennett officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
