Linda Sue Buckins, age 75, of Mershon, passed away, July 19th, at Hospice Satilla in Waycross after an extended illness. Linda was the daughter of the late Elmer and Erma Mae Barnes. She was also preceded in death be several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband Donnie Ducan Buckins, sons Sam Sydow and Dustin Sydow, his daughters Tony Sydow, Angela Sydow, Jackie Gilby, and Lindsey Gilby, sisters Vergie Farmer and Kay Opper. Also 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren survive.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3rd at 11:30 AM, Lee's Chapel Baptist Church, with Rev. Greg Delk officiating.
