Linda R. Crosby, age 79, of Alma passed away peacefully May 4, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She was born on September 17, 1944 in Worth County to the late Raymond Robinson and Julia Brown Robinson.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Roy D. Crosby; three daughters, Regina Newberry (Roy), Julie Johnson (Marty) and Kristi Peacock (Vic); seven grandchildren, Justin Meeks, Brandon Johnson (Kristin Westberry), Kaleigh Douglas (David), Andrew Newberry (Sierra), Logan Newberry, Ashton Peacock (Chase Kirkland) and Abbie Peacock and five great grandchildren, Marleigh Johnson, Daxton, Luxton and Halston Douglas and Bryson Newberry; sister and brother-in law, Shirley and Bill Smith; brother and sister-in law, Tony and Frances Robinson; close cousin, Jane Dyal; three sister-in laws, Joyce DeLoach, Jean Meeks and Nadine Crosby; brother -in law, Michael T. Crosby (Patsy) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Pet Hayes,Rev. Vic Peacock and Rev. Tommy McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
