Linda Lou Dyal, age 73, of Nicholls passed away April 10, 2024 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born May 22, 1950 in Bacon County to the late Noah Anthony Foster and Linnie Taylor Foster. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Dyal, Sr. and son, Henry Morris Ivey.

Mrs. Linda was a member of the Nicholls Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Scotty Ivey and wife Lisa of Alma; four grandchildren, Skyler, Chance, Alexa and Alana Ivey of Alma; two brothers, Linton Foster (Sharon) and Noah Calvin Foster of Alma and sister, Sally Daniel of Nicholls.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Nicholls Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Gilliard and Rev. Bobby Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Daniel, Jonathan Daniel, Kevin Foster, Anthony Foster, Josh Foster and James Woodard. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
