Linda Lee Taylor, age 65, of Alma passed away Sunday, February 16th at Hospice Satilla after a short illness. She was a native of Duval County, Florida but had lived in Bacon County the past 37 years. She was daughter of the late William Love Musselwhite and Cora Lee Hampton Musselwhite and was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rodney Clark. Linda worked with Oxford Sewing Factory for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, James "Boss" Taylor, Sr. of Alma, two sons, Vince Tapp (Sherri) of Tifton and James (Jammie) Taylor, Jr. (Jennifer) of Alma, a daughter, Teresa Lee Clark of Savannah, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Travis Peavy officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Derrick, Scott and Bill Taylor, Keith Igo, Christopher Moore and Jessie Crews. Jr. active pallbearers will be; Ethan Moore, Devin Tapp and Dalton Taylor. All others will be considered honorary escorts.
